This course is designed for Tshwane University of Technology (Department of Nature Conservation students) who will be completing the Essential Scorpion Sting First Response Short Course.

Instructions

This short course contains 10 short modules, and assessment and references. Study the modules and when you feel comfortable with your understanding of the subject, take the assessment. The assessment consists of 50 questions which have to be completed within 20 minutes. If you exceed the 20 minute time, the assessment will be stopped. 

You final mark will be recorded. If you achieve a final make of 80%, you will receive a link to download your certificate. Note that your assessment mark will be emailed to your lecturer. You may take the assessment as many times as you like, but it is your first attempt that will count for your final year mark. 

When taking the assessment, remember the following:

When entering your Organisation, be sure to enter the following according to which year  you are in.

  • 1st Year Conservation students: 1st Year TUT
  • 2nd Year Conservation students: 2nd Year TUT

When entering your name, remember to add  your full name and Student Number in brackets. For example Peter Parker (AS92234).

Note that your deadline for completing this course is 31st August.
