My contribution to the symposium will be a 30 minute presentation entitled Scorpions and Scorpion Stings In Southern Africa. I'll be laying the foundations of scorpion sting emergency care by covering the fundamentals that kickstart emergency care for scorpion stings. The content of the presentation will be taken from my book Essential Scorpion Sting First Response.
At the end of the presentation, I'll be making available a collection of medical papers for further reference.
I'm on a mission to reduce the burden of spider bites and scorpion stings across Southern Africa!
