Arachnid Course

Practical onsite training
This practical activities that focus upon the 4 major groups of arachnids in a natural setting. Suitable for multi-day training such as lodge training, field guide training and environmental training organisations. Fieldwork activities focus upon the natural history of these animals and include pitfall traps, identification workshop and first response. Participant presentations can also be included into the course.scorpion sting first response. 

Scorpion Sting First Response Course

Presentation, workshop, assessment & certificate
The essential scorpion sting first response course teaches the fundamentals of the scorpion sting first response framework. Course duration is 3 hours in length and consists of a presentation followed by an interactive workshop. Participants write a multiple choice assessment. All participants will receive a certificate according to their results. The pass mark for this course is 60%. Free supporting Resources are available for all participants.

Scorpion Sting First Response Distance Learning

Distance learning at your own pace, anytime & anyplace
Distance learning consists of the Essential Scorpion Sting First response Book and Workbook. Participants are able to self study in their own time and at their own pace, or as a group. Distance learning can be facilitated onsite. The Essential Scorpion Sting First Response Book and Workbook are part of the Professional Development Program. 

Venom Day

Education that saves lives
Join Jonathan Leeming for a question and answer session focusing upon venomous animals and their bites and stings. The idea is simple. Participants ask the questions and Jonathan and panel members will answer them. These questions will be used to direct the conversation during the session. Anything venom related goes, from bites and stings, how venom works, antivenom manufacture, first response, allergic reactions to venom, biotechnology, the latest research and more.

Educate, entertain & inspire
Natural history and first response presentations are great for member events, gatherings, social events and fund raising events. Some of these presentation include visuals, while other do not. These presentations anywhere from under a tree to a conference centre. Standard time is from 40 minutes with questions. They can be adapted to your requirements.
