Introduction To The Challenges of Antivenom

There are been a lot of media exposure to the challenges of antivenom availability in Southern Africa. This page aims to offer insight, and update and resources that add clarity to the new developments in antivenom availability. It also offers an update into the availability of SAVP antivenom. This page will be updated periodically as the situation unfolds. 

Within the context of Southern African, there are 3 different antivenom products.

Each product has it's own characteristics, efficacy, guidelines, pros and cons.
