Raptors View Home Owners Association will be hosting Jonathan Leeming for a presentation on Essential Scorpion sting First Response at the Raptors View Home Owners Association office, Safari Junction, from 4pm to 5pm. Note that this is a free event however, please remember to RSVP to Michelle Bishop on 083 641-1972 as places are limited. Note that this event is suitable for children. Jonathan will have copies of his book for sale at the presentation.

The Presentation

Scorpions represent a contradiction within the human mind. It is true that a few species of scorpion are venomous enough to cause harm to us and in rare cases death. However, at the same time they are a vital component of those natural systems that give us life!

This Essential Scorpion Sting First Response Presentation is based upon some of the content from Jonathan's new book, Essential Scorpion Sting First Response. It offers a new and innovative science-based first response framework that addresses the burden of scorpion stings in Southern Africa across all levels of society. This framework reduces the chance of being stung by a scorpion, and ensures the best possible outcome for stings in humans and animals.
