The end of 2023 is near and it is time to look to 2024. If you are planning your member meetings and require a strong speaker with a sustainability and environmental message, then I have 3 presentations that are doing very well for me. All feature venomous animals.

Developed and refined over the past few years. It examines why we think we have ben bitten by a spider even though there is no evidence that a spider was involved. The take home message is that if we are so wrong about spiders, then what other aspects of the world are we equally wrong about. This take-home message focuses upon issues of sustainability such as climate change, waste, human health crisis, biodiversity loss and ocean degradation.

Deadly Innovation has developed over time into something very special and unique. It focuses upon biotechnology and biomimicry to solve the challenges of our time. It examines venomous animals, how venom works on human physiology and how components of venom are giving us treatments for the most pervasive lifestyle diseases of our time. This presentation twists the audiences perception of venomous animals and touches everyone in the audience in a profound way.

The contents for this presentation has been taken from my latest book (publish date January 2024). This presentation is as much about our values and beliefs towards scorpions that it is about responding to a sting. It focuses upon 2 questions: How to reduce the change of being stung by a scorpion, and What to do if a scorpion sting occurs in human and pets. This book is going to redefine how scorpion stings are treated across Southern Africa.
All of these presentations are 45 minutes plus 15 minutes for questions. If you are interested in me speaking at your member evenings during 2024, let me know and we can set a date. I also have some new kids free resources Kids Free Resources which you have has use for.
