The essential scorpion sting first response course offers a new and innovative science-based first response framework that addresses the burden of scorpion stings in Southern Africa across all levels of society. This course covers the following fundamentals of scorpion sting first response:

Course duration is 2 hours in length and consists of a 40 minute presentation followed by an interactive workshop. Participants write a 50 question multiple choice assessment. All participants will receive a certificate according to their results. The pass mark for this course is 60%.
