The Spider Bite & Scorpion Sting First Aid Course offers a fundamental understanding of the subject to a larger audience

This course focuses upon medically important spiders and scorpions in Southern Africa. Important topics include the identification factors of spiders and scorpions, how venom works, symptoms, first aid for bites and stings, as well as when to seek professional medical assistance. Another important part of these course focuses upon where to ask for medical advice. After the presentation is a  workshop that reframes the course content into a practical perspective. All participants receive a certificate. Presented by Jonathan Leeming.
