Arachnid Course

This practical activities that focus upon the 4 major groups of arachnids in a natural setting. Suitable for multi-day training such as lodge training, field guide training and environmental training organisations. Fieldwork activities focus upon the natural history of these animals and include pitfall traps, identification workshop and first response. Participant presentations can also be included into the course.

This course includes lectures, training materials, certificate. This course focuses upon the following groups of arachnids:

• Spiders
• Scorpions
• Red Roman Spiders (Solifugids)
• Tailless Whipscorpions (Amblypygids)

The Arachnid course compliment first response, and is part of the Professional Development Programme.
