Based upon Jonathan's essential first response framework, the spider bite and scorpion sting first aid workshop is an exploration of the environment during which you’ll get to explore the area for spiders and scorpions. We’ll find a place somewhere to have a short presentation with visuals and an interactive workshop that offers participants a fundamental understanding of spider bites and scorpion stings.

This course consists of a copy of the Essential Scorpion Sting First Response Book and Workbook. Participants study the book and complete the workbook in their own time and at their own pace wherever they may be. Online support is given during this study period. Workbooks are then assessed and certificates are issued.
The Arachnid Course offers practical activities in the area of operation. It focuses upon the 4 major groups of arachnids in a natural setting. Suitable for multi-day training such as lodge training, field guide training and environmental training organisations. Fieldwork activities focus upon the natural history of these animals and include pitfall traps, identification workshop, first response, medical importance and much more.
